COP24: Türkiye Pavyonunda Yan Etkinlikler Başlıyor

Polonya’nın Katowice kentinde geçtiğimiz Pazar günü (02.12.2018) başlayan ve 14 Aralık tarihine kadar devam edecek olan Birleşmiş Milletler İklim Konferansı’nın (COP24) Türkiye Pavyonunda 6 Aralık itibariyle yan etkinlikler de start alıyor. Türkiye delegasyonun yayımladığı programa göre 13 Aralık tarihine kadar 15 tane yan etkinlik düzenlenecek.

Yaklaşık 200 hükümetin temsilcileri ile 20.000’den fazla devlet dışı aktör delegesinin katıldığı Birleşmiş Milletler İklim Konferansı’ndaki (COP24) Türkiye Pavyonu 15 tane yan etkinliğe ev sahipliği yapacak. 6-13 Aralık tarihleri arasında gerçekleşecek yan etkinliklerde iklim finansmanı, enerji dönüşümü, yenilenebilir enerji ve sürdürülebilir ekonomi gibi konular ele alınacak.

İklim Haber de Türkiye Pavyonunda 13 Aralık’ta “Türkiye’de İklim Değişikliği Algısı ve İletişim” adlı bir yan etkinlik düzenleyecek. Kolaylaştırıcılığını EKOIQ ve İklim Haber’in Genel Yayın Yönetmen Barış Doğru’nun yapacağı etkinliğe İklim Haber’den Bulut Bagatır, Serbest Gazeteci Melis Alphan ve bilim insanı Cem İskender Aydın katılacak. Etkinlikte, Türkiye’deki mevcut iklim değişikliği algısı, iklim değişikliği ve medya, iklim değişikliğinin karmaşıklığına karşı iletişimin gerekliliği konuları tartışılacak.
